Basic information

Chemical properties: Colorless or pale yellow transparent hydrogen chloride aqueous solution, smoking in the air, with a strong pungent sour smell. It is miscible with water and soluble in alkaline solutions. pH <1(H2O,20℃). Melting point -28℃. Boiling point: 45℃/760mmHg. Density ρ(20) : 1.18-1.19g/mL(37%).
Usage: Preparing standard solutions for titrating alkaline substances; Adjust the pH of the solution; Hydrolyze starch, protein, etc. Prepare chlorides, gums, medicines and dyes; Chemical synthesis catalyst Solvent; Corrosive agent.
